Our Sustainability Practices
1. Reducing Plastic Usage
We minimize single-use plastics across the property. Drinking water is provided in reusable glass bottles, amenities are crafted from sustainable wood, and we eliminate plastic trash bags in favor of eco-friendly alternatives.
2. Energy Efficiency
Energy conservation is a priority:
- Solar power supports select property lighting.
- LED lighting is used throughout the villas.
- Energy-efficient air conditioning ensures comfort with minimal impact.
3. Waste Management
We practice responsible waste segregation and compost organic materials, which are repurposed to enrich our gardens.
4. Locally Sourced and Ethical Materials
Our villas are constructed using sustainable materials, including bamboo and recycled wood from old train tracks. Locally made décor and amenities support Balinese artisans and celebrate their craftsmanship.
5. Sustainable Food & Beverage Practices
We champion farm-to-table dining, sourcing fresh produce from local farms in the Bali highlands of Bedugul. Food waste is minimized through thoughtful portioning, and our beverage offerings balance premium selections with sustainable, high-profit alternatives.
6. Community Engagement
By employing staff from nearby villages and partnering with local businesses, we contribute to the well-being of our community while fostering long-term relationships.
7. Guest Participation
We invite guests to join our efforts through initiatives such as towel reuse programs and mindful energy use, making sustainability a shared journey.
